Giclee is a French term meaning “spraying of ink.” Printing directly from information obtained
from the original painting, specialized printers spray microscopic drops of color on to a fine art paper
or canvas. Displaying the full color spectrum, giclees have vibrant colors and a velvety texture.
Giclees represent the highest commercially produced level of fine art reproductions.
What comes with my Fine Art Reproduction?
Your Fine Art Reproduction will come secured into its frame and will be ready to hang right out of
the box. We use a standard wire hanger that is mounted to each of our frames. All you’ll need to do
is select the appropriate place for the reproduction and place a nail, screw or picture frame holder
into the wall. We suggest placing the nail or screw into a stud or else using a specially made picture
frame or dry wall fastener which can be purchased for just a few dollars from your local hardware
store. Your Fine art Reproduction also comes with a name plaque that gives the name of the reproduction,
the artist’s name and the Bible verse that the reproduction is based on.
